' I don't feel safe': Oregon daddy accused of drugging 12-year-olds at slumber party


LAKE OSWEGO, Oregon-- An Oregon dad is accused of drugging 12-year-old ladies who were at his house for a sleepover with his daughter.

An indictment in the event was just handed down against Michael Meyden, 57, recently.

According to police, on Saturday, August 26, 2023, they were notified that three 12-year-old ladies were being treated at the healthcare facility.

The girls tested favorable for benzodiazepine, according to the affidavit.

It's typically prescribed for anxiety under the names Valium, Xanax and Klonopin.

According to the affidavit, Meyden made the girls shakes at the slumber party.

The ladies, including Meyden's child, were all served two shakes each.

One lady, who didn't drink much of the smoothie, reported that Meyden came downstairs to the basement where the girls were sleeping multiple times to see and inspect if the women were asleep, according to FOX News.

The child who stayed awake texted her mom.

A Clackamas County Grand Jury indicted Meyden on 9 charges.

Meyden turned himself in on February 28 however has actually given that been released on a $50,000 bond.
