There's a brand-new advancement in the works called The Edge that will bring food, beverages, retail and more to the Edgewood neighborhood. According to Harbert Realty Services, Popbar and Baba Java Coffee have plans to open store in the new advancement. The combined Baba Java and Popbar shop will be Popbar's 2nd Alabama place and Baba Java's third place.

3. New Baskin-Robbins in Hoover on Highway 31. (Pat Byington/Bham Now).

Baskin-Robbins-- the largest (number of areas) ice cream specialty chain in the U.S.-- is opening its 3rd stand-alone Alabama location in Hoover. The brand-new Baskin Robbins in the Birmingham location is set to open on Sunday, September 3rd at 1539 Montgomery Highway, Hoover, Alabama 35216. The grand opening is scheduled for September 16th.

4. QuikTrip

QuikTrip (QT), the popular regional travel center, has opened in Pell City, Alabama. The new "trip rest stop", which opened this month, is Alabama's 4th QT location. The brand-new QT is located straight off Exit 156 about 30 miles from downtown Birmingham.

A new woman-owned cafe is concerning Printer's Corner. Founded by Praveena Sundarraj, Dryft Coffee has roasted and served extraordinary coffee grown by ladies out of their pop-up camper because The World Games 2022. Dryft Coffee's future home is a 3,300 square-foot space situated on the ground flooring of Printer's Corner, that will consist of will include a roasting area + cafe.
