18-wheeler driver in custody after high-speed chase that ended in Fort Bend County

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas (BNN)-- One individual is in custody after a high-speed authorities chase with an 18-wheeler Saturday afternoon.
According to authorities, the chase started in Montgomery County when a Patton Village PD system responded to a report of a negligent driving 18-wheeler. Montgomery County Sheriff'& #x 27; s Office deputies joined the chase to assist the pursuit.
The chase then passed through Harris County and Fort Bend County and ended with the aid of a number of extra Houston-area companies, including HPD and DPS, and all required tactical forces, consisting of air travel units.
According to authorities, the suspect remains in custody in Montgomery County.
