2 regional ladies win Small Business Administration Award


CANYON, Texas (BNN) - - West Texas A&M University revealed 2 local females were honored in the nationwide Small Business Awards.

WT stated Amy Henderson, vice president & & business loan officer with Amarillo National Bank, was called the Women's Business Champion of the Year for the West Texas region. Hudson House Canyon, owned by Alyssa Lewis, was named the Woman-Owned Business of the Year for the West Texas area.

" Amy and Alyssa exemplify what it indicates to be servant leaders," stated Gina Woodward, local director of America's SBDC at WTAMU. "They continuously work behind the scenes to serve and lift up others in their own work and in their neighborhoods."

WT stated the small business awards exist annually by the U.S. Small Business Administration during "National Small Business Week."
