3 killed, several wounded in shooting at supermarket in Arkansas, police say

( NEXSTAR)-- Three individuals were eliminated and eight others were wounded in shooting at grocery store in south Arkansas Friday, authorities say.

Nexstar's KARK reports 2 people shot were law enforcement officers who are anticipated to be okay. Arkansas State Police say the supposed shooter was shot by law enforcement and detained.

The shooting occurred at the Mad Butcher supermarket in Fordyce, authorities say.

" My prayers are with the victims and all those impacted by this," Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement.
