A hot week is showing up that might lead to heat advisories

HOUSTON, Texas (BNN)-- It'& #x 27; s ready to feel the way it so typically performs in Houston in the summer season ... hot! The week ahead is all about high pressure that will keep the rain away and the heat in play.
The steamy week will include early morning lows in the mid-upper 70s and afternoon heats in the mid-upper 90s every day beginning Monday and lasting through, a minimum of, Father'& #x 27; s Day weekend. Heat index worths then might range between 105 to nearly 110 for the week too. Those numbers could be hot adequate to set off heat advisories for the seeing location by the middle of the week.
Temperatures Monday afternoon should rise into the mid 90s under primarily sunny skies.
Is this early summertime heat wave unusual for this time of year?
Not necessarily. Just this time last year we had a stretch of days in the mid-upper 90s too! However the level to which we'& #x 27; ll have these hot and dry days, at least 7-10 in a row, is. Tape high temperatures for Thursday, Friday and Saturday might be near tied too if temperatures reach 100 degrees or above. And remember, the feels like temperature will definitely make it feel that hot no matter what.
What is taking place in the tropics?
