ALCS Game 6: Rangers' home runs rock Framber Valdez, Astros as Houston bids for World Series return

HOUSTON, Texas (BNN)-- The drama of Game 5 in Arlington dragged into the weekend.
However Valdez, regardless of permitting a four-pitch walk to open Game 6 on Sunday, accomplished objective No. 1: leave the first inning without allowing any runs.
No. 59 caused a popout and two strikeouts to end Texas' & #x 27; first possibility in the batter & #x 27; s box.
Here'& #x 27; s how Game 6 is unfolding:

Jose Altuve plated the very first score after singling, taking second, and being sent home on a Yordan Alvarez RBI hit. Houston led 1-0.
Bryan Abreu, whose two-game suspension on Saturday provided a good share of the drama late in the series, formally appealed the restriction and is offered out of the bullpen in Game 6.
Rangers respond to quickly Real to their fighting spirit throughout the ALCS, the Rangers dented up Valdez immediately.
Mitch Garver swung at the first pitch he saw to start the second inning and sent Valdez'& #x 27; s sinker out of the lawn. Easily, the game was connected 1-1.

Heim'& #x 27; s round-tripper landed in the front row, just out of the grasp of outfielder Kyle Tucker'& #x 27; s glove. Texas makes the lead, 3-1.
Astros cut into deficit Up until the sixth inning, Alvin native Nathan Eovaldi'& #x 27; s just blemish to his Game 6 start was a first-inning RBI by Yordan Alvarez.
Down 2 runs, Alvarez again got on base in the 6th inning, in addition to Jose Abreu, who singled in the following at-bat. Kyle Tucker hit into a fielder'& #x 27; s choice to advance Alvarez, who then scored thanks to a Mauricio Dubon sacrifice fly.
Houston came within a run of Texas, 3-2. At that point, Eovaldi, who was able to restrict the damage to just the one score, was doubtful to return in the next inning, with Josh Sborz warming in the bullpen.
Eovaldi, though, returned for the seventh inning, when, after registering the very first out, Jose Altuve collected his second hit of the video game. Texas manager Bruce Bochy called for the bullpen later.
Sborz rapidly offed the danger by inducing a double play to Michael Brantley.

Supervisor Dusty Baker called on Abreu in the eighth inning, where Texas & #x 27; Evan Carter
stretched extended a single and then stole took base.
Houston & #x 27; s left-handed starting pitcher & #x 27; s uniform option is popular amongst fans. To everyone & #x 27; s surprise, Valdez and the team buttoned up the orange unis for Game 6. If you'& #x 27; ve noticed, that was the uniform that the Astros wore in all three of their Arlington wins throughout this series.
