Alleged Maple Heights park shooter handed $3M bond

GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio - - The guy authorities said killed his pregnant sibling and her husband during a Labor Day party at a Maple Heights park dealt with a judge on Wednesday.

Jason D. Iverson, 29, of Warrensville Heights, is charged with 2 first-degree felony counts of aggravated murder and a first-degree felony count of tried murder in the Monday, Sept. 4, contending Stafford Park.

Police stated Iverson came to the park that day to challenge his family members amidst a "longstanding" fight, and started battling with them.

The man's sibling, 30-year-old Mercedes Iverson, and her hubby, 31-year-old Norbert Carter, tried to leave in a vehicle. There in the parking lot, Jason Iverson presumably shot Mercedes, as well as a 13-year-old kid thought to be an onlooker
