Beginning in 2020, the Motel Program offers a motel space to stay in along with other services, consisting of program recommendations, move-in assistance, and housing coordination and navigation, according to the City of Sacramento.
Nick Golling, manager of homeless services in Sacramento, said, "This program offers households and others a place to call home till they can discover more long-term real estate services."
