AMARILLO, Texas (BNN) - - Officers with the
Amarillo Police Department launched information about a reported robbery that occurred at a company near I-40 and Georgia.
According to a press release from the department, officers were sent to the
Amarillo Social Club, situated at 1619 S. Kentucky, on a call of a break-in around 11:53 p.m. Sunday. Authorities said that the break-in reportedly took place around 11:10 p.m. Sunday.

Officials said in the release that a car apparently supported to business, and a person came inside the
Amarillo Social Club, handing a staff member a note requiring money while pointing a gun at the worker. Officers said the worker gave him the person and the money left the scene.
The
Amarillo Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit is examining the incident, the release stated.
