Amtrack trains suspended from Philadelphia to New Haven by breaker breakdown

NEW YORK-- Amtrak trains have been temporarily suspended from Philadelphia to New Haven, Connecticut, by a circuit breaker breakdown. The national rail service says Thursday afternoon's technical issue caused an extensive power loss on tracks in between Penn Station in New York City and Union Station in Newark, New Jersey. As an outcome, Amtrak says trains running in between Philadelphia's 30th Street Station and New Haven's Union Station have been momentarily suspended until further notice. The agency says teams were dealing with the problem. Earlier Thursday, Amtrak said soaring temperatures might need trains to operate at lower speeds, leading to delays.
