Authorities go after in Garfield Heights ends with a crash


GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio – – A police chase in Garfield Heights ended shortly after the suspect's lorry hit a pole.

The chase that started quickly before 2 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15 concerned an end in Cleveland, near the crossway of Grand Division Blvd. and E. 90th Street.

Authorities state the suspect crashed the vehicle and then attempted to range from the scene, however was collared after a brief foot chase.

Strongsville teen guilty of murder in 2022 crash


The suspect was inspected at the scene by medics for small injuries.

It's not clear what started the chase.
