Automobile smashes into Lincoln glasses shop, triggers $75,000 in damage, cops state

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – – A chauffeur was mentioned Monday night after they crashed into a Lincoln eyeglass shop, police state.

Around 10:30 p.m., officers were sent out to the intersection of 56th and O Streets on a report of a three-vehicle crash.

Authorities say a Nissan Maxima on O Street ran a traffic signal and struck a southbound GMC Acadia in the crossway.

The Nissan then crossed the crossway, struck a third vehicle and drove off the street into Eyeglass World.

Authorities approximate the crash caused about $75,000 in damage to the shop.

The motorist of the Nissan was mentioned on suspicion of violating the traffic signal, according to authorities.

2 drivers were required to a local health center to be treated for minor injuries.
