'Biggest Asparagus Festival in the West' returns to San Joaquin County

(FOX40.COM) - - The 38th annual San Joaquin Asparagus Celebration, likewise called "most significant celebration in the west," is scheduled to go back to Stockton from April 12-14.

Deep fried asparagus, bacon-wrapped asparagus, asparagus nachos, asparagus pasta, asparagus burritos, asparagus churros, and asparagus ice cream is simply the beginning of a long list of asparagus-filled meals that festival-goers can anticipate to see on the menu.
