Breaking Now News: Three Charged in Deadly Shooting in Greenville

Authorities have charged three individuals in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in Greenville on May 10. The incident resulted in the death of 24-year-old Rasheed Wallace from Jersey City.

A witness, who requested anonymity, reported that Wallace was shot in the head while driving a car on Pearsall Ave around 10 p.m. The car subsequently crashed into parked cars nearby.

Police responded to reports of gunshots in the area and found Wallace with a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was taken to Jersey City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The Regional Medical Examiner's Office ruled the shooting as a homicide.

Charges and Arrests:

  • Makiyy Randolph, 21, of Paterson, is charged with Murder, Felony Murder, Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. He was arrested on July 12.
  • A 14-year-old female and a 16-year-old male are charged as juveniles with the same offenses. They were arrested on July 11.

Randolph was apprehended on Gates Avenue in Jersey City after a brief foot chase. He is currently held at the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

Due to the confidentiality of juvenile proceedings, no further information is being disclosed about the two minors involved.
