Cheektowaga authorities to share more about deadly 33 Speakeasy event

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) - - News 4 is expecting to soon learn more about a deadly incident that took place this past February in Cheektowaga.

Early in the morning on Feb. 22, 24-year-old DeAngelo Williams was eliminated after being shot numerous times. Police stated they responded to the 33 Speakeasy Grill on Genesee Street near Colden Court after hearing of "a reported battle with possible shots fired involving around 20 individuals."

Williams was discovered on the ground and required to ECMC, where he later passed away.

Police are preparing to speak about the incident Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. News 4 will supply more details when it appears.
