Chipotle Mexican Grill introduces Chicken al Pastor

Chipotle Mexican Grill will start serving a brand-new, peppery flavor of chicken for a limited time starting Tuesday, March 14.

The Newport Beach-based chain calls it Chicken al Pastor. It is prepared in small batches with a marinade of morita peppers, ground achiote, lime and pineapple, according to a news release.

Chicken al Pastor will be readily available at Chipotle restaurants around the world and is the chain's very first simultaneous international launch, the news release said.

Chipotle is using complimentary shipment on Chicken al Pastor orders made on its app or site March 16-26.
