Conway cops fatally shoot 78-year-old male, state police to investigate


The Arkansas State Cops revealed Monday afternoon an investigation into an officer-involved shooting in which Conway police shot and killed a senior male.

According to a brief news release, officers shot Allen Seibert, 78, after he addressed the door of a home on Old Morrilton Highway while holding a firearm. The release kept in mind the Conway Police Department had a search warrant.

The shooting occurred around 9:15 a.m. on Monday, and Seibert was noticable dead at a health center about half an hour later.

An examination is ongoing.
