Just months after a devastating fire, the beloved Derrick Street Camp in Huntsville is making a strong comeback. The camp, a cornerstone for local youth programs, is set to reopen with major upgrades, bringing new hope to the community.
In early 2023, flames engulfed the historic camp, leaving behind only charred remnants. What could have been the end of an era has instead sparked a wave of resilience. Thanks to community support and dedicated volunteers, reconstruction efforts are now in full swing.
