Jerome "Jerry" Joseph Brandon, a beloved member of the Johnson County community, passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 78. Known for his unwavering dedication to his family, friends, and community, Jerry leaves behind a legacy of kindness, hard work, and selflessness that will be remembered for generations to come.
Born on March 15, 1946, in Johnson County, Jerry grew up in a close-knit family that instilled in him the values of integrity and perseverance. After graduating from high school, he pursued a career in public service, dedicating over 30 years to local government. His work ethic and commitment to improving the lives of others earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and community members alike.

Above all, Jerry cherished his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 52 years, Margaret, and a loving father to their three children. Friends often described Jerry as a man who could light up a room with his warm smile and infectious laughter.
A memorial service will be held on February 14, 2025, at St. Mary's Church in Johnson County. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Johnson County Food Bank, an organization close to Jerry's heart.
