Big changes are on the horizon for healthcare in Birmingham! The UAB Health System has officially taken over Ascension St. Vincent's, marking a significant transformation in the region’s medical landscape. As of November 1, 2024, all St. Vincent’s facilities will now operate under the name UAB St. Vincent's, promising an enhanced healthcare experience for patients and providers alike.

Under this agreement, the UAB Health System Authority will manage all Ascension St. Vincent’s sites, which include:
Patients will continue to have access to the trusted healthcare services and providers they rely on, while also benefiting from a broader network of care options.
