In an effort to change the course of their season, El Paso Locomotive FC has secured the services of two talented players on loan from Liga MX sister-club FC Juarez: forward Amaury Escoto and defender Arturo “Palermo” Ortiz.

Both players have extensive experience in Mexico's top two divisions, with over 300 matches played each.
Ortiz was a standout defender for Pumas UNAM in their run to the 2021 Concacaf Champions League Final.
