Facial acknowledgment startup Clearview AI settles personal privacy suit

CHICAGO-- Facial recognition startup Clearview AI has reached a settlement in a claim alleging its huge photographic collection of faces violated the topics' personal privacy rights. The unique arrangement gives plaintiffs in the case a share of the business's potential value, rather than a traditional payout. Clearview does not confess any fault as part of the contract.
