FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (BNN)--
Fayetteville State University confirmed Monday that a woman discovered dead in a house near school was a student.
Fayetteville Police stated that just after 4 p.m. on Saturday, officers were called to the 1300 block of Coley Drive to help
Fayetteville State Police with a death investigation. Officers stated FSU Police reacted to a request for a well-being check by a family member. When FSU officers got here, they found a woman'& #x 27; s body inside the home.
On Monday, FSU identified the student as Mia Barfield. No age or other information about her was right away launched.
