Female killed in crash with semi-truck near Grand Island

Pexels LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – – A female was killed Saturday early morning in a crash with a semi-truck north of Grand Island.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened around 9:55 a.m. at the crossway of Highway 281 and Chapman Road.

A Pontiac Grand Am was heading north on Highway 281 when it struck the semi-truck, which was turning onto Chapman Road, according to the constable's office.

The chauffeur of the Pontiac, Lila Wilson, was required to a regional healthcare facility where she was later noticable dead.

The constable's workplace says the chauffeur of the semi-truck was treated at the scene and did not require to be taken to a hospital.

An examination is continuous.
