DENVER (BNN) - - Flooding was reported at Rocky Mountain Arsenal Friday early morning, adding to the road closures due to rain in the
Denver area.
Heavy rains continued Friday early morning during a days-long storm that affected chauffeurs with flooded roads around the city.
Roadway closures in Thornton due to flooding
Water levels initially Creek were "very high and flowing quick" on the north side of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, according to authorities at RMA.
Wildlife Drive was closed due to flood waters streaming over the road and posturing a danger to motorists in the area.

Flooding was also impacting motorists near Thornton as several roads were closed in the area.
