Fort Worth waste contractor demanded neglect after mishap involving trash truck

The business who deals with property trash collection for the city of Fort Worth is being sued for neglect following a crash on Highway 360 that involved one of its chauffeurs.

A suit in Tarrant County District Court alleges that an unidentified driver with Waste Management of Texas Inc. failed to secure their truck's load in April 2022. Fort Worth resident Dayton Montre Brown, who submitted the lawsuit, stated that a big things fell out of the top of the truck on Highway 360 in Arlington and struck his cars and truck, requiring him to knock on his brakes and causing injuries.

Brown is looking for monetary relief for his: past and future medical costs brought on by the accident; discomfort and suffering; psychological anguish; physical impairment; car damages; court costs.
