(FOX40.COM) - - Hundreds of individuals rallied outside of Sacramento's capitol building August 28 to voice their viewpoints about a tally step that the authors say is developed to secure kids.
The bill is proposed by advocacy group Protect Kids California and consists of the Protect Girls in Sports and Spaces Act, Protect Children From Reproductive Harm Act, and the School Transparency and Partnership Act.
According to Protect Kids California, the initiatives would safeguard children from reproductive harm, require schools to keep moms and dads completely notified in all matters referring to their child's psychological, social, and physical health, and provide female trainees fair and safe chances to complete in sports.
Some individuals in opposition of the bill say it "targets transgender youth," since in impact the initiative would put an end to "gender-affirming care," eliminate transgender women in female sports, and require schools to inform parents if their kid determines as a gender different than what's noted on their birth certificate.
