Guy appears to brandish weapon throughout fight at high school in Pomona

A man appeared to pull a weapon out and point it toward a crowd after a fight broke out at a high school in Pomona on Thursday, according to video submitted to BNN by a parent of a student.

The video shows a frenzied scene in which a male appears to display a firearm during a fight at Diamond Ranch High School. The school hadn't reacted to an ask for remark as of 9 a.m. Friday, although it verified the incident in a message to parents Thursday evening.

The school told parents an automobile of non-students pulled up and attacked a student when school ended on Thursday. The man who presumably brandished the weapon was not a student, the school said.

" We are working with the local authorities to provide details to assist them collar the suspects," the message checks out in part.

The school said law enforcement officials would be on campus on Friday to guarantee the security of its trainees.
