Guy dead after Friday night wreck in Decatur


DECATUR, Ala (BNN)-- The Decatur Police Department (DPD) states a male is dead after a wreck Friday night.

DPD stated around 10 p.m. Friday officers responded to a rollover wreck in the 5300 block of Danville Road.

The department said the driver and sole resident of the automobile, 32-year-old Mason Smith of Decatur, was carried to Parkway Medical Center. He later on succumbed to his injuries at the medical facility.

Decatur police stated the wreck remains under examination.
