In a heart-wrenching incident that has left a community on edge, detectives are appealing to the public for assistance in locating two beloved Cane Corso dogs that were stolen from a vehicle. This distressing event unfolded earlier this month, and the search is on to reunite the dogs with their owner.

The Incident: What Happened?

On a seemingly ordinary day, a victim parked their vehicle outside 1515 N. Harbor Blvd, leaving it unattended with the keys in the ignition and the engine running. Inside the vehicle were two female Cane Corso dogs, blissfully unaware of the chaos about to ensue. Within minutes, an unidentified suspect entered the vehicle and drove away, as confirmed by a witness who observed the entire scene.

Where Are the Dogs Now?

The stolen vehicle was later recovered in the vicinity of 1400 S. Main St, but the victim's dogs remain missing, intensifying the search efforts by local authorities and animal lovers alike.

Meet the Missing Cane Corso Dogs

  • “LADY”: A striking black and gray female weighing between 128-135 lbs., 1.5 years old, with a docked tail and cropped ears. She has captivating gray eyes and is wearing three collars.
  • “RENE”: A tan (formentino) female with wheat-colored eyes accented by black eyeliner, 8 months old, also with a docked tail. She is identifiable by her chrome choke chain collar.
