Hit-and-run between vehicle and bicyclist, avoid area

(FOX40.COM) -Modesto Policeman are currently at the scene of a hit-and-run traffic accident including an automobile and a bicyclist on McHenry Opportunity, north of Sylvan.

At around 5:30 p.m. officers state they were dispatched to a collision in between lorry and a man on a bike. The male sustained significant injuries and was transported to the health center. The lorry left the scene and is referred to as a small light-colored sedan.

McHenry Avenue going both directions are shut down as of 8:15 p.m. Police encourage to utilize alternative paths.
