Drivers attempting to head out of town for Thanksgiving on the I-10 Katy Freeway dealt with hold-ups due to 2 crashes that took place late Tuesday night. The second crash left a Houston cops officer who was blocking traffic near the scene with a concussion.
The very first crash occurred on I-10 westbound near Highway 6 just after 11 p.m.
Houston authorities said the 25-year-old lady driving the Hyundai altered lanes when it was hazardous, cutting off the 18-wheeler. The driver slammed into her and both cars ended up crashing into the HOV lane, cops said.
