Kidnapping suspect detained after kid and woman held for ransom in Fresno, cops say

FRESNO, Calif. (BNN)-- A kidnapping suspect has actually been arrested after a mom and her kid were held for ransom in Fresno on Friday early morning.
The kidnapping happened around 11 a.m. in the location of Maple and Central opportunities.
Fresno police state a male flagged down officers and informed them his other half and kid were abducted and being held hostage.
Private investigators state the male had consented to pay the kidnapping suspect money to bring his other half, 4-year-old child and young boy from the border of Mexico to Fresno.
The kidnapping suspect brought the family to the arranged meeting spot in Fresno but wound up demanding more cash.
