LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)-- To prepare the next generation of STEM research studies, Morrill Hall held an occasion targeted at introducing young girls to the field.

5 cubicles in Mammoth Hall offered hands on activities for every single visitor to attempt.

Each cubicle taught a lesson associated to civil engineering and its relation to everyday life.

Gabriela Gonzalez stated she hopes those who stopped by will continue to pursue a STEM field.

" I enjoy it because they get to learn about various things, and in some cases the kids know more than us."

She stated it was motivating to see numerous interested in learning about civil engineering.
