Join the Mission: Help Us Support Local Veterans in Need!
This season, let’s come together to honor our heroes! From now until November 4, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is spearheading a heartwarming initiative to collect essential items for the Veterans Village of San Diego. Our goal? To fill over 30 boxes with much-needed supplies for veterans in our community. Your contribution can make a world of difference!
What Items Are Needed?
We’re looking for donations of gently used or new items, particularly in the following categories:
- Men's Clothing: Large sizes, especially XXL and above, are in high demand.
- Outerwear: Sweaters, sweatshirts, hoodies, and jackets to keep warm.
- Pants: Sweatpants and jeans for everyday comfort.
- Headgear: Beanies and hats to shield against the cold.
- Bags: Backpacks and tote bags for easy carrying.
- Linens: Towels, blankets, and sleeping bags for a good night’s rest.
- Games: Chess, checkers, and other strategy games for recreational activities.
- Art Supplies: Craft materials to inspire creativity.
- Underwear and Socks: Both men’s and women’s are essential.
- Hygiene Items: Shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, and feminine hygiene products.
- Pillows: For comfort and support.
- Stationery: Notebooks, journals, planners, and calendars for organizing thoughts.
Where to Drop Off Donations
Community members can contribute by dropping off items at various locations, including:
