(FOX40.COM) - - A guy was jailed by the Fairfield Authorities Department after parents reported that he was standing in front of David Weir K-8 Preparatory Academy while taking part in lewd behavior.

Authorities state that at around 2:10 p.m. on Monday, some concerned moms and dads called Fairfield PD about a man who was touching himself inappropriately with his trousers down. Less than a minute later on another parent called and stated that the guy was armed with a weapon and was pointing it at her.

Within minutes Fairfield Police supposedly dealt with school officials to put the school in a lockdown status as officers looked for the man.

The man was captured a brief distance away and was found to be in possession of a lighter that resembled a handgun, according to Fairfield PD.

Suspect in 1987 Solano County cold case located in Oregon

Police states the parents positively determined him as the guy they saw in front of the school. He was consequently apprehended and scheduled into Solano County Jail for threatening others with a reproduction gun and disruption on school premises.
