Mild Friday; rain shows up late and stays sometimes this weekend

A front has stalled right over Central Indiana Friday morning. It will continue moving north as a warm front.

With that in mind, that will play a huge role in our rain possibilities and which spots get the hottest through the weekend.

Forecast High Temperatures Friday

Increasing clouds and rain late

The front will lift north as a warm front and bring rain chances in addition to it. Our northern counties have the greatest potential of seeing rain late this night and over night. Some scattered activity around our area is possible into Saturday early morning.

Lots of dry time Saturday; Easter Sunday turns messy late

After the morning rain opportunities Saturday, we'll have a good break throughout the daytime. Easter Sunday will not be a washout either as rain does not move in up until late.

Heading out early Sunday for Easter celebrations? This will be ahead of the warm front.

Active early next week

The storms late Sunday will belong to a deepening location of low pressure heading into our neck of the woods. Monday may likewise have numerous rounds of storms, some of which might load a punch with a severe danger and heavy rain hazard. We'll be seeing this risk as we get closer.

Tuesday requires the rain opportunities to end and temperature levels to plummet. By the time the Indianapolis Indians home opener happens that night, it will be a touch cold. After that, a classic case of weather whiplash will accompany an opportunity for flurries on Wednesday. Highs will have a hard time to leave the 40s.
