RALEIGH, N.C. (BNN)-- High pressure just off the Carolina coast will keep up partially cloudy tonight, with any showers likely to pass by to the north and west.
An approaching warm front tomorrow will bring adequate mid-level wetness our method, so we will wind up mostly cloudy with a light shower or more scattered throughout the location. A spring-like air mass will follow this warm frontal passage tomorrow night and Wednesday.
As a result, tomorrow night will be very moderate for this time of the year, with the low temperature likely to remain near to or simply above the regular high of 59.
If we see more sun than anticipated on Wednesday, we will likely add 2-4 degrees F onto the afternoon high. The main belt of energy aloft will be passing by well to our north late Wednesday, so the main serious weather condition risk will pass by up the Ohio River Valley into the southern Great Lakes on Wednesday afternoon and night.
It will be windy and much chillier over night later on Wednesday night.
By Thursday early morning, it will feel more likely late February, with readings down in the mid to upper 30s in the mornings.
Have a great evening!
