Revving Down: Worcester Introduces New 25 MPH Speed Limit to Enhance Safety

In a significant move aimed at improving safety on the streets, Worcester is set to roll out new speed limit signs starting October 21. The Worcester Department of Transportation and Mobility (DTM) is not stopping at just the installation of signs. To ensure that residents are informed, the city will also introduce:

• Variable Message Signs: These will be placed throughout the city to create awareness about the new speed limit.
