Red Bird Produce is the creation of Casey Hobbs, a West Coast transplant who wished to provide a consistent choice for people to get quality, local produce at a budget-friendly rate. Before establishing Red Bird Produce, Hobbs studied under Tamra Murphy (one of the first farm-to-table chefs) and ran the food pantry program at Urban Ministry.
" The amount of assistance we've received from the community has been incredible. Even total complete strangers have donated to our GoFundMe, which conserved us from needing to go into debt to get to where we are. Old good friends offered their support and our designer, Page Ledbetter, has done an impressive job at changing this space. We can't wait to put that assistance right back into the neighborhood!".

Have kids with you? Let them play in the Little Red Bird Nest while you shop!
" I initially made the Little Red Bird Nest as a place for my kids to hang out while I worked on the shop, but I've kept it around for other parents. I painted some blackboard paint onto the walls, and there are different toys like a little play kitchen for kids to delight in.
