Nissan remembers over 463,000 lorries over interest in airbag security

DETROIT (AP)-- Nissan is remembering more than 463,000 older lorries due to the fact that the symbol on the guiding wheel can come loose when the air bag is released and injure drivers.

The recall mainly in North America covers specific Frontier little pickups, Titan big pickups and Xterra, Pathfinder and Armada SUVs from 2008 through 2011.

Likewise included are Quest minivans from 2008 and 2009, in addition to about 11,000 parts used for service.

Nissan says it has 4 reports alleging injuries due to the issue.

The business hasn't developed a repair. Clients will get an interim letter in early April, followed by a letter telling them when to go to a dealer for service.

If your automobile is impacted by this or other recalls, you can likewise inspect your vehicle's VIN number with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration online to figure out.
