OSHA points out Boring Business for safety infractions on Vegas Loop job

LAS VEGAS (BNN) - - Elon Musk's Boring Company deals with eight citations and more than $100,000 in fines due to security infractions on the underground Vegas Loop job.

According to the OSHA report, almost 20 workers say they were chemically burned while dealing with the job and strolling through a sludge of groundwater, chemicals, concrete, particles, and grout. The employees say there was no access to showers. Pictures in the report appear to show the sludge.

The report likewise indicates an even larger spill took place after the pictures were taken. The company was also cited for the collapse of an overloaded filth bin near workers. The offenses took place in the second half of 2023.

The Boring Company challenges the findings.
