The "Grey's Anatomy" star and race vehicle chauffeur takes the mantle from "Captain America" star Chris Evans, who was 2022's choice. The choice was revealed on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Tuesday night.
Dempsey, 57, informed the publication about his initial response. "I 'd totally forgotten about it and never even pondered being in this position.
The actor stars in the upcoming Michael Mann movie "Ferrari." He told The Associated Press in 2015 that he did all the driving himself, calling it "the very best role I've ever had.".
