Police ask for help amid search for missing Modesto man who wandered from group

(FOX40.COM) - - The Modesto Cops Department requested the general public's help to discover a 56-year-old male who they said went missing after he roamed from his group.

Rodney Knox, the missing out on man, was with a group in the location of Plaza Parkway and Sisk Road in between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Monday when he wandered away, according to MPD.

Knox was last seen wearing a black San Francisco Giants jacket, blue shirt, black SF Giants baseball cap, and blue denims. Cops said he has to do with 6 feet high and weighs about 250 pounds. Officials did not define if Knox is handicapped or at threat however said he ‘‘ may appear lost or puzzled.'

MPD encouraged anyone with details on his whereabouts to call the department at 209-552-2470.
