Previous EKU professor sentenced after hiding electronic camera in kids' restroom


FRANKFORT, Ky. (BNN)-- A former EKU professor has actually been sentenced for trying to produce kid pornography in 2023 by using a concealed cam in a men's bathroom on EKU's school.

The Department of Justice stated 36-year-old Kyle Knezevich, from Richmond, was sentenced to 220 months in jail after accepting a plea arrangement.

According to his plea contract, on September 7, 2023, an Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) student found a hidden cam in a guys's bathroom on campus.

Private investigators discovered that the camera had actually been placed in the restroom by Knezevich, who at the time was an associate teacher of air travel. After the discovery, law enforcement obtained a search warrant for Knezevich's home and electronic devices.

  • In the videos, small males were recorded in various states of nudity, including using the washroom, undressing, and bathing. As part of his plea, Knezevich admitted that his intent in creating the videos was to catch the small males participated in raunchy conduct.

    Knezevich pleaded guilty to trying to produce child porn on Jan. 3.
