A South Lake Tahoe homeowner scared off a black bear that pushed through the screen door of his backdoor last month.
Video caught on the house owner's Ring floodlight cam revealed the bear strolling along the backyard of the home, which appears to be on the Tahoe Keys, a residential area with direct water gain access to and boating docks.
In the video, which was taken Aug. 2, the bear can be seen approaching the backdoor of the house, pausing in front of the screen door before suddenly pressing it in.

The homeowner, determined just as Troy, told Ring that he was house alone as he viewed the bear push through the screen door to enter his home.
He instantly began clapping his hands and screaming, scaring the bear off as it tucked its tail and left from the very same hole it used to get in. The commotion from within can be heard on the video.
Recent bear encounters have California locals on edge.
Troy can be seen following the bear out, viewing it as it walks along the yards of the area prior to disappearing from view. Clearly annoyed, the homeowner then pulls out the damaged door to examine the damage.
