Report to be released on CSU system's Title IX application following Fresno State event

FRESNO, Calif. (BNN)-- The law office tasked with examining the CSU system'& #x 27; s Title IX application is set to launch a brand-new report.
It originates from the resignation of Fresno State'& #x 27; s former president of student affairs, Frank Lamas.
It'& #x 27; s been more than a year because a USA Today examination discovered Lamas had actually been paid to leave the school following allegations of unsuitable conduct, including unwanted sexual advances.
That report sparked criticism about how then-president of Fresno State, Dr. Joseph Castro, dealt with those harassment allegations.
A job force was produced to check out the alleged misbehavior, and Castro eventually resigned after having increased to the role of CSU chancellor.
Wednesday, the CSU Board of Trustees will be presented with a system-wide evaluation of how its schools implement Title IX and Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation programs.
A written report will be launched after the meeting.
