(FOX40.COM)-- The household of 93-year-old Chanthy Philavong gathered outside the family home to keep in mind their cherished mom, granny and great-grandmother who passed away from a vicious pet dog attack in Modesto.
Her household affectionately called her Grandma Chanthy, and they described her as sweet, full and caring of life, with a smile that warmed up a whole space.
She raised 5 kids and assisted with 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
" It was 80 seconds… … and everyone's lives changed," neighbor Janiece Dendulk informed FOX40.com.
Dendulk's camera caught on video the two pets, which are walking cane corsos, a breed of mastiff, technique her door on Aug. 31.
" I tried keeping them here… … All of an abrupt, they removed…… and I heard shouting," Dendulk stated. "We found the mommy out here, the grandmother on the ground with the dogs attacking her. I began tossing potted plants, shoes, whatever I could find, trying to help him get her in your home."
Authorities said Philavong was taken to the healthcare facility, where she died a day later on.
The pet dogs are being held at an animal shelter, and cops state it hasn't been figured out yet if the canines might be euthanized.
