PAINESVILLE, Ohio – – The Ohio State Highway Patrol and Painesville Police Department are collaborating for a sobriety checkpoint.
According to a press release, the checkpoint will happen on Friday, June 28 from 10 p.m. till midnight on United States 20 in Lake County.
Motorists can also anticipate nearby "saturation patrols to strongly combat impaired driver-related injury and fatal crashes," according to the release.

In 1990, the Supreme Court upheld the use of sobriety checkpoints as long as they meet specific standards which include public notification.
